Congratulations to our 3 (!) IoT Tribe portfolio companies who won awards at SLINGSHOT 2020 in December.
SLINGSHOT is Asia’s most exciting deeptech startup competition which in late 2020 returned for its fourth edition. It sits within SFF x SWITCH (Singapore FinTech Festival x Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology) and, among other things, crowns the Top 100 Global Startups!
After 3 intense days of virtual pitching and hybrid deliberations, they could finally announce that 3 IoT Tribe companies had made the coveted Top 100 Global Startups list. Noodle Factory – A conversational AI platform built for learning and development, SmartBeings – a Silicon Valley-based voice AI and video conference startup focusing on services industry like hospitality & healthcare, and Medaplus who provides explainable AI for the automated analysis of respiratory and health conditions.
To make things even sweeter, Noodle Factory was awarded a S$30,000 Startup SG grant while crowned the winner of the Rolls-Royce Corporate Challenge Award for using NLP to automate curation of content into conversations, enabling instant learner engagement, and helping educators work faster.
